Pressure Washing
This is a procedure that we thought was very important for us to be able to incorporate into our service line up for a couple of reasons. The number one reason is, pretty simple-minded every single time that we are going to do a paint job the first step is to clean the area thoroughly. Obviously indoors we are not going to be using massive water pressure, but for outdoor areas, it really helped. Also, exterior pressure washing can be a great way to bring out the original paint job on a surface. Instead of wanting to repaint every time that the paint job looks like it’s getting a bit dull.
What Can You Pressure Wash?
For the most part, we are going to be pressure washing home facades, whether they be stucco or siding. We basically started doing this as we mentioned to be able to prep our painting services. The same happened with decks, this was something that we started as a way to prep restaining. These days we can get calls for pressure washing home facades, and decks without necessarily doing any type of repainting. We can also help you pressure wash patios, driveways, or any other type of hard surface.
Pressure Washing Before Paint Jobs
With any paint job that we have to do, the first step is always going to be to thoroughly clean the area. Certainly, pressure washing is one of the quickest and most effective ways to do this. As we’ve mentioned already we are typically going to be pressure washing home or business facades prior to any type of repainting. If for any reason you don’t feel comfortable with having us pressure wash the area let us know. We’ll come up with other ways to be able to clean the area effectively prior to painting.
Do You Really Need A New Paint Job?
There are people that are going to give us a call even months after we paint their home exteriors to tell us that the area just doesn’t look the same and the colors have gone dull. When this happens many people want to jump the gun and blame the cheap paint that was used in the process. Sometimes, it really isn’t the paint, it’s just that the building is covered in dirt literally. One of the best ways to be able to keep that great looking paint job that you liked so much is to pretty regularly pressure wash your home or building exterior.
Pressure Washing Responsibly
This is something that we want to address particularly because we know that there are plenty of people out there that are not pressure washing enthusiasts. We are not going to be pumping up the pressure to the point where it can potentially remove paint from walls for example, unless that’s the intended purpose. We are also not going to be offering to pressure wash tile roofs or any other surface with potentially loose elements that could suffer from this type of procedure.
